Kingfisher on the Chesterfield Canal

I love this Alan, the sharp focus of the kingfisher in flight is top notch (and that little reflection the icing on the cake)

You've captured the tranquil softness of the landscape really well. On the left, the brushmarks rounding the top of the bank and the distant greys are very effective.

Superb , like the slightly out of focus background adds to the speed of the Kingfisher diving .

Thanks all. I have ro be honest, it just started out as a landscape (no bird), but I thought it was lacking something. I know kingfishers fly up and down the canal, so I thought why not.
