This is an oil painting that I recently completed of a young lady playing a violin, she was in a Georgian outfit as she was playing in a Georgian building and she was very good. It's oil on stretched canvas and measures 295mm by 425mm

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
