Anna is a portrait of a very special friend, its Oil on stretched canvas, measures 16" x 20". during the later half of the year I separated from my wife and just stopped painting. Anna helped me get back on the wagon, well brush in hand. took 6 hours to complete.

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
