After a brilliant workshop at my club from the artist Greta Vilidaite this is one of two paintings that have come out of it. I was hoping to loosen up my style and I believe she has helped me with that, I was very pleased with the result. Even though I was never too keen on acrylic paint I may reuse when I paint outdoors.... much easier to transport a painting that drys in minutes as opposed to weeks/months.

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
