I decided to put my oil paints down and have a go at a medium I've hardly ever touched so I dived into watercolours, this is my first real attempt at a picture, it is of the statue of Collie and MacKenzie on the Isle of Skye.

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
