Just finished this oil painting of the riverside in Durham, it measures 20 inches by 16 inches and its on canvas board. It is just as the trees start changing colour for autumn, one of my favorite times of the year.

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
