An oil painting created from a photo my partner took at Beamish Museum and I'm pleased she took it. I love the history there and I love the pit ponies. This measures 16x20 inches and is on a canvas board

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
