Yes, don't wait for inspiration - go out and get it; or even stay at home and get it - ransack the old memory: it contains millions of images. Like the cool shadows in this one - amongst, as always,many other things.

the looser a scene is painted the more difficult it is to achieve - when a friend of mine (now regrettably in the great studio in the sky) was asked how long a picture took to paint would always answer 50 years - and he was so right

I can always find something to paint ,even if its a simple house .. I close my eyes and and visualized a drive down hall lane ,there is this old house on the right ,its nothing to look at. and who would paint a boring scene like that ..but with a little titivating up it can pass me an hour away from the tele inspiration did you say ?no //its looking at you.when you open your peepers see yah Alan
