You've not been here since last August! But I've followed you on YouTube and this is a good one for beginners to try - it reminds me of a quick watercolour sketch by Hercules Brabazon - all the elements there, but just put down and left. Like the 'wet' water, too - the thing I find most difficult to get right in any medium.

Recognised this as one of yours straight away Alan, I love the palette. Lovely to see you posting on POL again,.

hi I hope the weather is nicer in your neck of the woods ,shucks it,s now,t but rain here ..I would love to be able to do a bit of oil painting but the cold is stopping me,,it,s years since I tried oils ,I need to be in the open air .its bad enough on my chest when she,s frying fishcakes ,.how are you doing Fiona ,?and you Robert ?,,I hope you keeping well ,and wrapped up .see ya for now ,
