Enjoy Alan. Had many grand-daughter happy weekends in the past. Years ago, I achieved hero status with my wife by introducing our grandaughter to egg and soldiers when she wasn't eating. (-:

We're doing the Grandparenting thing tonight; our granddaughter is four and a half. I doodled this for her yesterday, inspired by the illuminated manuscript collections at the British Library and the Fitzwilliam in Cambridge. Coloured pencils (Derwent and Caran d'Ache) on cartridge, 10cm x 16cm
