Neighbourhood is a creative expression in painting depicting urban sprawl which is typical of semiurban cities in southwestern part of Nigeria. In a clear statement, there is an interaction of nature with unstructured human settlement. The architectural design of the buildings coupled with the corrugated iron roofing sheets is a proof that the area captured in this painting is one of the earliest civilized area of the city. I painstakingly captured rustic, serene and busy features of my Neighbourhood.
