What a treat to see the painting in a bigger size than on a magazine ! I am SO VERY HAPPY for you. You well deserve this recognition. I have seen in the last few months so many beautiful work of art that you have produced. From landscape to portrait, all very beautifully executed. Well done. This one is full of light, life and summer time ! Love it.

great adebanji, youve got so many people in there it looks alive

I wasn't even a member of this site back in 2009, but I love this painting, the colours, figurework, vibrancy, it is all there in abundance in this great work

Oil on linen, 24" x 18"- This painting won the ROI competition, organized by The Artist Magazine- The painting will be on show at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries 28th October to 8th November, 2009. There is also an article on this with 100 years of the Royal Charter of the ROI in the current November Issue of The Artists Magazine.
