Thanks Chris, I would love you to try getting some very cheap newsprints with some basic charcaol sticks and just start "playing" around with the medium to have a feel of it and what it can do. BROAD STROKES, LINES, VARIOUS MARKS, SMUDGING, BLENDING, RUBBING..... This would help you to know how you'll use it for more serious work! Hope this helps. If you are more specific with what you need to use it for, it would help me know what more to say-portraits, landscapes, still life.........

I used to play pool at Rileys and this was one of the attendants, she looked great, so we made a deal when I'll get a drawing done. This is done in Charcoal.
