This has a really busy feel to it which the colours seem to enhance and I like the way you've painted the recession of the buildings. Another fine example of your excellent work.

Wonderful...so busy and those cyclists my goodness dangerous...fantastic movement and colour

Fabulous colours! You've absolutely captured the spirit of Rush Hour.

Thanks Patsy! Thanks Lesley, I really like the expression, "The spirit of Rush Hour"

excellent painting, adebanji, i like your use of colour do you use a lot of red,is this going onto the DSFDF,site, i notice you haven,t gone for the detail in the buildings ,yet it really does look good,i ve been spending to much time on the detail thats why mines not finished yet, but this really has got the look of rush hour...chris

Thanks Chris, I do use a lot of red, I have Terra rosa, Cadmium red and Alizarin Crimson on my Palette. That's 3 reds! I decided I wasn't going to let this scene bore me, so I tried not to use a ruler and get down to any detail on the buildings. This is going on the DSFDF site!

hi adebanji,i hope you will be doing some more work like this ,if you get your chance to go to new york, youv,e got my vote......chris

I have just found this painting. What a beautiful work, so colourful and so cleverly executed.

Just great, love the orange colouring on the building picking up the colours of the cars and occasional attire of the pedestrians, and the super contrast between the building height against the depth going done the street

Thanks Ros!! Really love your insight!
