Lady Tee

I love the modelling on the face. Not sure about the background. I think a few vibrant colours would have lifted the whole painting. But all in all an excellent study and well up to your usual high standards. I like it - I'm a sucker for a good portrait. She makes me smile along with her. Fantastic lips! What medium is it? Coloured pencils?

Alan thanks, it is coloured pencils with sanguine, sepia and black dust. The drawing is meant to be monochrome thats why the colours are limited. Love your analysis. Thanks Ruthy! Val thanks, I haven't painted her before.
