Wonderful. Do I sense a slight change of style here?

Thanks Diana, whencever I paint the African scenes I kind of connect to Expressionism- a mixture of brushstrokes with a calligraphic feel.

What a beautiful piece of work - everything about it is so vibrant and exciting - the colours are wonderful. What a lovely little boy too.

Love it too, just back from holiday - how did competition go for you ?

Thanks Majorie! Norah, thanks! I came 4th with 506 votes but the sports contestants were 1st -3rd, with 1,211, 695 and 537 respectively. I guess I'll keep on trying, thanks for the support!

a great piece, adebanji, i like all the colours ,the composition is very good, ....hard luck with the competion......chris

Thanks Chris! Yes, that's life when it comes to competitions-you loose some and you win some!

Lovely, lovely Africa colours. I am going back to Africa next month to paint. This is beautiful and inspires me.

WOW what an opportunity!!! Wish I could find myself in your lugguage! I'm sure you'll enjoy your trip and painting expedition!!!

Very good.. Love the colors and how you caught the moment with a very loose looking feel..

Hi Adebanji, This painting is beautiful, but the child's face doesn't look happy and contrasts with the brightness of the merchandise. There is a message there in my mind. It is very strong. It's not just about a pretty picture, is it?
