Pembrokeshire Coast

Adam, this is absolutely beautiful! I can't believe you don't paint on a regular basis, you really should😀 Pembrokeshire is my favourite part of the country... I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I'd be happy with it, too, Adam. I think you have captured the dark ruggedness of the Pembroke coast to a 'T' I love going there for a holiday with my dogs.

The composition is fine Adam. The main subject are those wonderful cliffs. Bringing out there wonderful subtle hues would have made it all work very well. Knowing Pembrokeshire the rock formations and colour are fabulous. For the only two paintings in 25 years you are going to be very good with practice.

What a lovely painting...it’s great. One small crit is , the white depiction on the cliffs. Not sure if it’s where the light falls? Or part of the rock formation? . If it’s light maybe you should also add light patches on the grass . If it’s delination of rock formation I would make the lines sharper and follow the actual contour of the rock. . I love the splashy bits at the bottom of the rocks I would be tempted to make them bigger and splashier ...super pic. Look forward to seeing more.

Thank you all for your lovely comments, they are much appreciated. In relation to the white bits, they are part of the rock formation and I agree wholeheartedly Sylvia, they definitely need more definition, this is a part that I struggled with but hopefully this is one of the areas I can improve.
