I like this! :) I came upon several flax fields on the downs just outside Lewes.I totally agree that the colours and views are just too good not to capture on canvas! :)

Yes the blue colour was very arresting and I decided upon arrival at mid-morning to find a good vantage point to paint it from. As the day wore on (a beautiful Summer day) all the flowers began to close up so by 4.00 it was a green field again!
