I like this too. Very well done in the muted colour scheme. The light in the building on the left and reflection in the water draws the viewer in. Smashing.

Thank you for the above comments. The full title is "Dawn, Palazzo Salviati" and was accepted for the Royal Society Of British Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries in 2008. The palazzo is now an hotel; is it guests who have just returned at dawn from a decadent night in Venice, or are they getting up early for the flight home? I think I will opt for the former!
