like a feeling perhaps? because i get the feeling from this of someone innocent lost within raging waves, caught in the middle of a storm in a sense.........if that makes sense :-p i really like this paintng :-)

A stunning painting Helen, and I agree with Rebecca's comments above, love how you have portrayed the sea and the wave, maybe could have been little more over to the left but that takes nothing away from how good this is

A great painting Helen..It looks like smeone unable to change the path they are traveling in because of irresistible forces..But I'm not very good with this type of work.;-)

Rebecca and Ros i am very happy that you get a story from my painting, It makes me feel i have connected with the viewer.I think i may add a little color to the left side. Robbin thanks I have been surprised by the differing thoughts on this and i like the way you view it . I am wandering around in painting at the moment wondering what style i want to paint so i have been interested in the reaction to this.

Very powerful. Trapped in events she can't control. If you crop the left a bit you get an even more claustrophobic feel! Very good.

Thanks Gudrun yes its better cropped but on a canvas so may have to add something. its really interesting to hear everyones portrayal of this painting.
