During the night a few weeks ago and I had lucid dream about a mouse and a mousetrap. I remember thinking in my half awake state, that it would make a cool painting and maybe even cooler if there was a snake in the background. Then as I was painting it I happened to be listening to a lot of Nirvana. That line seemed to fit with the image. So it stuck.
