I was impressed with this piece at first sight David. I've looked at it again in more detail and I'm still impressed. I love the style, the simplicity, the open spaces and choice of colours.

There's a compelling sadness to this painting, intended or otherwise, that hints at a lost era. The palette plays a major role in the melancholy. I like this calm, peaceful and reflective scene. Brian
