Heather Love. Don’t mind you saying at all I know he is levitating 😆 had a bit of a nightmare resolving this portrait, A memorial piece, working from 1 old picture with no details 🤦🏼‍♀️ There was another dog on the canvas too. He was sitting in a swing and didn’t want it included 🤷🏼‍♀️

Beautiful portrait Cathy. Heather's suggestion is good, a little shadowing/shading beneath his paws and body would do the trick.
