This work captures a moment in time when my son and I were walking the coastal path in Pembrokeshire. He was climbing the craggy rocks and stopped to gaze out to sea. The colours in that moment were vibrant, lifted by the clear sky, and I have represented the textures of the rocks using collaged objects, unrelated yet fitting to the scene because of their shape and hue. I love to work in this way, building a new landscape from collected imagery.
