Swaledale Sheep, Northumberland by Andrew Roberts

A great grouping and all those fleeces merging with the one 'hidden' goats head is great

Really well painted Andrew.

You've captured the character of this tight knit group of sheep really well.

They look rather fierce with those big horns but you have made a cracking job of this painting Andrew.

Love the woolly fleeces. We were at a show in rural N'umberland last weekend and saw sheep just like these.

Thank you to Heather, Stephen, Bobbie, Carole, John and Rosalind for your comments.

Great composition, love their black faces.
