Getting the image in your head onto the canvas seems to be the artists curse. I can never do it but it is also what keeps me trying. I think you have captured it very well Chris.

I think it’s really great Chris. We all have pieces we think are a bit of a mess but we tend to be hypercritical of our work and it’s not how others see it.

Thank you one and all for your support and kind comments. Yes I have probably been too self critical and I know it can happen to us all. Any way I have a long drive now to see my 96 year old Mother in Law in Caterham. So will catch up later.

I wouldn't call this a mess, Chris. The white shapes of the birds against all that lovely texture works so very well!
