Sorry to hear about your Mum Chris, a painting that no doubt she would have loved

A heart warming story, Chris. I can appreciate the significance of this painting as my own mother passed on a number of years ago having suffered in he latter years with dementia.

A treasured painting Chris, really beautiful.

A gorgeous painting and a heart warming story. It has real heart and that comes across.

A painting with much connection to you Chris. I like it very much.

A piece that is so much more than a scene - it captures memories of a loved one and is therefore priceless, . In any event, it is still a lovely piece by any standard, Chris!

Similar story with my mum Chris. This is a lovely tribute to the memory of your mother.

Thank you all for your kind and sincere thoughts. Much appreciated as always.

The image of a loved one, in a place she loved and painted with love…..a truly wonderful tribute Chris.

Aww I missed this one Chris. Lovely and for keeps! ❤

This is not a great painting but a personal treasured one taken from a photograph some ten years ago now. My Mum was a writer not a great one but a published and proud writer. Alas in her later years as Dementia took hold all our lives changed. I remember Mum saying once " As long as I don't lose my marbles dear." Mum loved her wild back garden. And all that grew and lived there.
