Clonmacnoise is a very popular tourist attraction situated on the banks of the River Shannon. It has two round towers and ancient Church ruins once occupied by Monks. The picture I have painted is from a photo I took while visiting some years ago. The Shannon glides by this historical site. And where we moored our Holiday boat. This is the view looking back.
