I was house sitting on the outskirts of the Forest of Dean this week, and popped out to paint en plein air, but the warmth of the car was too enticing - so a quick sketch and wash was all that I achieved.

I have always wanted to sketch or paint, I didn't do art at school or college. Each day I enjoy flipping through the Painters on Line Gallery and wonder at the skills of the artists here - (most seem to have gone to art college). I know I will never compete with them, but enjoy the challenge!
