Knew that view instantly. painted it myself many times, And will again in July. The challenge is what you are observing, not what others are painting and drawing. Don't compete, enjoy!

I this part of the jurassic coast has so many tones, I decided to have a go at recreating in using just paynes grey.

I have always wanted to sketch or paint, I didn't do art at school or college. Each day I enjoy flipping through the Painters on Line Gallery and wonder at the skills of the artists here - (most seem to have gone to art college). I know I will never compete with them, but enjoy the challenge!
