Hello Judith, thanks for your comment on my painting. I would not be too concerned about not going to art college. Many of us haven't either, but it has not held us back. My wife and I have had a great Professional life as artists, exhibiting, teaching at workshops, writing articles and teaching on Cruise ships. I used to be a Plumber!!!! Most of us all start at the basics and gradually over the years get our own style. It took me 7 years going on courses to Artist i really like and who could teach to achieve that, you never stop learning and discovering new ways. We are now retired and paint for our selves and for the sheer enjoyment. We like still to pass on any advice. Really hope this helps you Dave.
