Hi, folks.    The last project for the current module of my drawing course was to draw a self portrait in a scene.  What I've effectively done is drawn a still life of a folding mirror, perched on a coffee table.  I used different grades of pencil to differentiate the reflections from what's not.  I have to admit the wine glass wasn't planned, but you need to keep yourself going while you're working, don't you!  Having said that, I liked the way it appeared in multiple mirrors, so I'm happy it ended up there. I'd love to know what you think.  Thanks! Simon
Looking good, you needed the shape of the glass to add interest and break up all those straight lines.

Thanks!  Hopefully I'll keep improving.  I'm starting to move from the beginners phase of just soaking up new information, to starting to realise just how far behind everyone else I am and getting a bit overwhelmed!
Everyone had to start somewhere - we were all beginners once upon a time.  Everyone here is helpful in my experience, but we can’t give you hand/eye coordination.  Only you can develop that with practice.
