Im pretty confident this is finished, just a glaze to pot over once its dry then varnish. Any critique would be greatly recieved

Like it, can't quite make out the bottom left hand corner where the flash has presumably caught it.
I've no critique to offer I'm afraid: it's leaning towards abstraction, so only you can know if you've achieved what you wanted to: I think you probably have - it looks as if you know exactly what you're doing, so I look forward to seeing the finished piece on the Gallery page.

You've no reason to be reluctant to show your work - that section of the painting you've shown us could stand in its own right as a finished piece. Go on - get your stuff out there!
