Well, December and January were a bit mental - mad work deadlines have meant I've hardly picked a brush up! Back on with the Mustang now though, and I'm toning the bodywork back as the colour is too warm compared to the actual car. Out of curiosity, I desaturated the last pic I took and it looked loads better, so I'm working my way around the sections I've already painting and doing the same.
Well, is there such a thing as too many Mustangs?  I think not!  Splendid work again.
Nah, you can never have too many Robert, even though I’ve switched allegiance to Pontiac these days :)
Got a bit more progress the last couple of nights - toned the bodywork back to cool the colour slightly. It’s now more of a metallic gray than bronze, which I’m happy with. Grille’s finished and window and windscreen are coming along. Just hope I can keep this pace up!
Another few days on this one - the bumper's pretty much done now, and - wish me luck - I've washed the mortar in for the back wall and I'm going to attempt to paint the bricks with a mild hangover tonight :)
Fascinating as ever, Anthony.  Looking great.  Like the low viewpoint on the car, it brings out the beast in it.  Good luck with the bricks.
I really don't think I could do this - it's not just the detail, which I'd find tedious to do but probably could (eg the brickwork) but the brilliant way you've shown the sheen on the metal - sheer genius.
Truly amazing!
Absolutely brilliant, there is no way I could achieve this finish, looks like a photograph it’s so realistic.
Thanks so much everyone! Stan, that’s spooky, the next one I’m working on’s a Focus RS and and Escort RS1600i, really looking forward to that one :)
Think it’s a Mk1. Both cars are black, going to put them against a graffiti wall 👍 Love the green, although I prefer ASBO orange from the STs - painted my old Plymouth that colour :)
Got a start on the bricks, and they're looking pretty good so far. I'm lucky that the wall is old and the bricks are mis-shapen, makes the whole thing so much easier!
