My friend Rae allowed me the use of his photo. I thought the fishing net pattern made an interesting subject (oh and the trout!) Still much to do. Just getting the netting drawn out was a bit of a nightmare (and it’s a mess at the moment)

Thank you, both. My husband hated it at first… ‘what to do you want to paint a fish for…?’. His criticism is usually constructive rather than outright negative!. But it’s grown on him now.
