That’s a beautiful seascape Marjorie! You have caught the light perfectly.
The last of the four finished off today. Really enjoyed this one although it was my least favourite at first.

All of them are brilliant Marjorie.  I particularly like the seascape though.  The multi picture approach is catching.  I started 3 today.
Linda, I'm particularly interested in the bird of paradise. I bring ours in every winter, it was grown from seed. It always flowers in our sunny bathroom from Xmas onwards. This year it has 4 flowers and 2 to come.
Marjorie, I love the cat looking out the window, I've loved them all. They have all been exceptional. Linda you look very busy.
That's very kind, Denise, thanks.
I’ve never grown a Strelizia ,  you must be very proud Marjorie.  Is it the same kind of colours that I am using?
I must confess, my brother succeeded in growing 2 plants, gave one to me and mine thrived - a bone of contention! We've had it about 8 years now, it knows it 's loved😉, that's why it performs for us. Same colour as yours.
Thank you for posting it Marjorie.  A splendid specimen.  My ink drawing has had a major disaster.  I tried turning it into a watercolour only to find that the nut brown ink was not permanent and bled into everything.  So my crisp line and wash landscape has become very muddy.  I might try rescuing it with coloured pencils tomorrow.

Landscape posted, but I have learned from my error.  I presume I could add gum Arabic to the ink. The Strelizia has progressed but I’m not pleased.  The softness of oils would probably have been better than the starkness of acrylic.
I love the vivid colours of this Linda. What surface did you use please?
I love the colours Linda, a real eye catcher.
