Well done Dawn, for getting the subject heading up - knew you could do it! Now then, this isn't so much a WIP as a preliminary photograph of what is an almost finished painting, and you're not going to see it at its best until I can take it outside in the light and get a better picture of it. But it does show the conditions in which I work - I'll take pity, but money would be a lot better - and it'll help to baptize this subject heading unless anyone sneaks in there before I've done. The title is Flood Plain, for reasons which might be obvious when you see the painting properly cropped and presented.
Hi Robert, The colours in this piece look gorgeous and I'm looking forward to seeing the end result. I like the way you draw the eye into the picture. You mentioned this is almost finished. What have you left to do? Is it in oils or acrylic? Seeing someone's workspace is always interesting too. Thanks for posting this photo :)
You call that a workspace Robert? It's a large lounge with bookshelves but still you paint some tremendous work in there. Lets' see it finito
Soon as poss, Derek. Would have done it today, but dentist supervened - a bit of a round trip to get to him. And workspace, well ....... no: that is being a bit generous; I've never had a dedicated studio - a lone violin would be a suitable accompaniment here - and I sleep in this room, too..... I feel hearts going out to me all over POL. But as I say, the money would be so much better, and is now, really, the time to stint? It's an oil, Patricia. That's where most of my money goes, on oil paint. And it's one reason why, see above for pathos, I don't have my own studio. Kleenex, anyone?
Yes weeping galore all round
