I have quite a large wild garden....and these guys have seeded themselves and shown an appearance, I have big Orientalist and Welsh poppies and other smaller ones but suddenly these and covered in bees.  They only last a day but then some more...very frilly and pretty.   Testing out my eyes doing this....We may be some time.  Am using Inktense on A3 paper.  
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

Lovely stuff as always - I know  your eye problems are going to slow you down and make your painting life more difficult, but there have been many others with all sorts of vision problems who have found artful ways of dealing with them: and we all wish you all the luck in the world in dealing with yours.  That's the trouble with the human body - it wears out: I think we should demand our money back, personally.  Sale of Goods Act, where is it when you need it?

Awe Robert thank you. I had some tests two weeks ago for magnifying stuff and funny specs to reduce glare.   All courtesy of the Welsh Assembly ... I might be able to read instructions.

Superb work Sylvia , I know you will persevere with your painting and hopefully the new magnifiers will help . You will be able see instructions but will the Sylvia I know follow them ?.

Agreed, the poppies look wonderful Sylvia. I'm very sorry to learn of your eye problems, hadn't known before this. I hope the magnifiers help lots.

You’ve made a super start on your poppies Sylvia, and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished item. I love poppies but find them impossible to paint as they are so frail and delicate! There seems to be an outbreak of red poppies this year, and they’re everywhere at the side of the roads and looking as if people have actually planted them in their gardens rather than just seeding themselves! Hope the magnifiers will help you. X
