LkjhThis is not a whinge….i am attempting an acrylic on canvas board of my favourite flowers. I have Macular degeneration  in both of my eyes , it means that I have no central vision … but I do have peripheral vision.  It has got worse recently and there is no cure.  I am painting flowers that I know well as I cannot see them in front of me.  I drop things I spill things , I lose things  and my spelling is crap. If I post this as a work in progress I might not bin it. I read the comments on POL with a “ Speak” programme.  I can enlarge pics on my I pad and I use a magnifying glass.  I wonder if anyone else has daffyeyes.   So let’s see where I get to…. My water Lillie’s are not out yet.    No pity please. Leave that until I am run over by an invisible tractor driven by a mad farmer. My avatar has always been an eye…lol. J

It’s looking good Sylvia.  I can understand your frustration when you can’t see what’s in front of you but despite that it’s coming along nicely.  I don’t think it’s a whining at all , it’s good that you discuss your difficulties as often other people are having similar issues for different reason and it helps to know that others are coping and trying new ways doing things.
Done a bit more….its at the turn it to the wall stage or paint over the lot, I do a lot of that these days….sigh….
Don’t paint over it Sylvia , it’s coming along nicely.
It's looking good Sylvia, keep going.
It is beautiful, please don't paint over it, it's just lovely. Great detail in the flowers.
It's wonderful how well you can paint with MD (my mother had it too).   this is a lovely painting and definitely don't turn it to the wall, you're one clever lady.
It’s looking good, Sylvia, some lovely detail in the flowers, and the dark background sets it off really well.  Don’t paint over it!

All it needs now, is a frame, Sylvia
Sweet ladies and Paul your encouragement is wonderful, thank you. It still has a way to go.  So Sam will have his walk and then I will continue.
Not amazing but will not destroy, I enjoyed the doing.  Looks like wallpaper.
Duplicated.
