Saw an idea on Youtube for a watercolour lesson and decided to try a version probably in mixed media. This is the start sketch using 4b pencil. This will be a square portrait about 9x9 inches.  To be continued..(-:
Looks promising Jim!
There comes a point when enough is enough for me, and I think this is it. I've skipped all the robe ornamentation because the idea isn't mine and just a version. . I freely admit I'm no longer capable of great detail so I'll leave it at that.
He looks good Jim.
Good work.
Really good Jim, I like the sketch very much.
Like it Jim.
Great work Jim!
Your work on "Oriental Gentleman" reflects how art can connect culture and storytelling. Social media plays a similar role in sharing ideas globally, sparking debate and discussion. Writing about such topics can be insightful, as seen in this argumentative essay about social media. It’s fascinating how creativity in art and writing both shape perspectives in today’s interconnected world.
