Started this yesterday having drawn out the rough draft the evening before, I took the bridge from a scene I wasn’t interested in and developed my own around it . I do love old stone walls, buildings and bridges etc.
Added the base colours, keeping it quite light at the moment.

I then worked on the brown, unfortunately I pick up lamp black instead of Payne’s grey to mark out the stonework, I will take it back before I proceed with it further .

Spent an hour or so today but not in one session, just five to fifteen minutes at a time , I’ve lightened the bridge and will work on it again towards the end painting.

Thank you Sandra , I’m trying to give this the spring look , need cheering up in this dull wet weather .
I did a little more this morning, not of tidying up and started to add the main trees in the foreground , I’m pleased with how it progressing , that’s unusual for me at this stage as I’m looked at the painting and think what am I missing . I’m having a problem uploading the photos so will try again later. I logged out and then opened it up again , worked this time .
