Acrylic version on 25 x 25cm canvas board of a watercolour I did way back.
Why haven't you finished it?
AG this is WIP (work in progress) as the heading of the forum says. TB23 there is a lot to come and all with be revealed. I am not following another's style of tones etc, If you have a look at my website www.dereksnowdon.com you will find the original which won me a Highly Commended prize.
This is a WIP section - so work won't be finished, it's in the process of being created. And as for the tones, well the state they're in now might have nothing to do with the state they'll be in once finished. It's difficult, because I've found comments on this section quite useful, so far as my own stuff is concerned - but I'm not so sure Derek was actually looking for crits at this point.... Give us a chance to work our own issues out, maybe: some of us have been at this for long enough, after all.
I like the colours you've used so far. Looking forward to watching progress.
No offence of course TB23. If I can find it! will do. Cheers for that Robert. OK here you go

Looks like I've upset a few on here. Wasn't the intention. Maybe I read it wrong.... 'Acrylic version on 25 x 25cm canvas board of a watercolour I did way back.' And I just asked why it wasn't finished - as in the comment of I did way back.
No prob AG, I paint a lot of stuff over old failed works. Thus isn't one - it's an acrylic version of the same scene done as a watercolour
Cheers Syd, hope to add things today
A little more, not much more to do I think, apart from some features on faces or colours. Any suggestions apart from bin it?
