Been away for a bit as work’s been frantic, but got a new painting started this week and looks like my enthusiasm has come back! About time too… I recently started talking to the owners of one of my old cars, a 1990 Mustang GT convertible. I liked this car so much I owned it twice, very nearly three times, and the new custodians are also loving it. The owner’s partner has asked me to paint the car as a Christmas present for him, and it’s flying along: Less than a week so far and I’ve made more progress on this one than I did in three years on the other WIP I have at the moment. Got back into the ‘paint every day’ habit and it seems to be working.
It’s looking great Art , pleased to hear your back in the game.
Got a bit further on, red bodywork’s done and working on some detail now:
More progress, got a decent afternoon in today:
Other than the wipers and a couple of bits and bobs, finished the top half of the car off tonight:
Had a few days off so got a decent session in tonight: Been putting the bumper and body kit off but bit the bullet and got the front end pretty much done.
Just a delight to see your paintings come into being.  This is going to be a cracker.
Cheers! I’m on fire with this one, think it’s the subject matter - hoping to have it finished by the weekend.
Close enough finished, just a couple of details to add now: Reference pic was ropey so some of the detail isn’t the best, but think it works pretty well overall.
It’s absolutely brilliant Anth ,  you are so good at the detailing .
Cheers Paul! The back wheel’s really sketchy but it’s not the focal point so I’m sure it’ll be ok.
The details are so good! It was great seeing the progress! Superb work Anthony!
