Thank you Tanja  and Norrette for your comments, I’ve had a bit more time on the painting today , still cross with myself for getting the building wrong but never mind, lesson learned and artistic license used . Starting to put in som details, I don’t want to go down the road of each brick , branch and ripple in the water line , want more of a representation of the mill that a realistic painting of it .
Manage a bit of time working on this today , a  meeting was cut short, yippee time to paint, a bonus session . Started to add some of the details, quite happy with it but for some reason I’ve got a niggle with it but don’t know why or what it about.
I became a bit sluggish with this and almost abandoned it , but as it was WIP decided to finish it off. It’s ok but I’m not over enthused.
