01 Step: 1 Step:  2. Step: 3.Step: 4.Step: Here are a few small steps, today after a long time, in 36-degree heat, with plenty of breaks. The watercolor doesn't need to be dried with a hairdryer, hip hip hooray! I can't write so much .... These are all my beloved cats, pitch black: Miggeli, my very first, then the grey one, Rasputin, then Tigris isn't painted yet, in front sits Smoky (tears), and on the right in all his glory, my living SchatziBatzi Léon. I'm not finished yet,... I just wanted to show the steps... I wish you all a good night with a bit of cooling down!!

Impressive and gorgeous! I love cats - and dogs!
Funny thing about cats: I dislike them on  principle - bird killers, etc - and go all gooey when actually confronted with an individual cat; and I've drawn a few - I do  prefer those which avoid the bird feeders, though.........
It’s a superb piece Tanja , all your beloved cats and Leon the  latest one to share your home .
Fine cheerful work Tanja.  Your love of cats shines through.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, I'm so glad! I finished it this morning; my fingers wanted to do more brushwork, sketching, and painting, but I forbade them – the end – finished. Done. By the way, it's about the size of an A4 sheet. One of my biggest paintings :) It'll be in the gallery right away - I wish you all a nice day with some cooling off.
Charming, just so charming.
Tanja, this is really delightful, love the colours.

I tought I taw a puddy-tat.... several puddy-tats.... a tweeping up on me  = You did, you taw a puddy-tat: that puddy tat wath ME....  Nice design and colouring  - wonder when the one at the back will sweep that plant off the counter?  But I'm sure your cats  aren't as evil and conniving as Thylvethter (Sylvester), whose ambitions for Tweetypie the canary were entirely culinary.

Dear Robert, I forgot to mention that these cats in this particular café have absolutely no desire for canaries. They're all vegetarians, which means I don't know how long the red flower will last with the black tomcat... the only predator that very rarely feels a craving for meat, purely in a culinary sense of course, is the two-legged server, so, in all modesty, myself... but I don't eat canaries either; they're too yellow for me. :) 💛
