Drew my little owl out first, then sprinkled the tiniest amount of Brusho on using white and grey,  then with a fine spray of water ( I use an old perfume bottle ) I carefully sprayed the Brusho shielding the owl with kitchen paper. The  background has worked great, it's just what I wanted, for the tree branch u have used gouache.up

Thanks for sharing this, Linda.  It's already looking wonderful.
That’s really quite stunning already Linda.
You are tempting me Linda.  I haven’t used Brusho yet.  I will have to buy a new cabinet if I buy anymore art materials though.  Your owl is looking very promising indeed.

Thanks for taking a peak, the inks are so vibrant Linda, they are something new for me as well and don't always come out how you want them to, that's why I thought I would post this to give an idea of how to use, lots of video clips on Utube, most of them rubbish 😉😀😀
I’d rather get information and tips from the people on here than on  u tube. I know you will have tried it before recommending it . Thanks again for sharing Linda

There was quite a discussion on Brusho on here quite a while ago. Sylvia had a salutary tale to tell. She might contribute if she's not pinned beneath a mattress - another salutary tale. However, Linda, the effect you've got is lovely.
It looks beautiful Linda, I got some Brusho delivered last week. Oh my word, it's like wild horses on the paper. Of course, the colours are so amazing, I think it will be some time before I get used to using them. I might have another go sometime this week. I was a bit heavy handed shaking the powder out and when I sprayed the water, it looked like a firework factory had gone off.
Glad you've had a go with them Denise, they are great to experiment with though, I only put 1 small hole in the top and like you say you have to go careful as to how much to use. What I want to know now is how permanent they are. Do you treat them like watercolour and keep out of strong sunlight, let me know how you progress with them. 👍🤗
This looks very exciting Linda.  Loving the owl.
Well I have managed to find the original thread on Brusho and found Sylvia's vanished painting!! not read through it all as yet, but very interesting.
Well I have read all the original thread on Brusho from 4 years ago and found it to be very informative. I will probably only use it for cards as it doesn't seem to come out very well on being colour fast. I do sell my work so I am glad I delved further into this.
