Been working on a new Floral Work... I wanted to paint Cherry or Apple Blossoms.. I finally decided on Apple Blossoms, and I wanted them to be Pink White and Yellow Mostly.. Another Pastel Painting... I started out with a simple and not so simple Pencil Sketch on Krita... Just to lay out the idea....

Here on these layers I found a nice semi floral texture to add to the background layer... Then on another layer, I started to flesh out the flowers more and started to add some color and detail.. Used a fine pencil and Ink pen to do the branches and veins... A nice Watercolor brush put on some fine red dots where the stamins are...

Here on these layers I am just working up the detail and Intensifying the color vibrancy... now that things are pretty fleshed out... Did some blending and need to add my green and blue green for leaves... After this stage I realized I forgot to add the Berries or bulbs that are always present... So on the next layers I will add them and put in background colors...

On these final Layers I added more background flowers and blue background color.... The texture background is still there, but you can't see much of it... I used Corel Paint Shop Pro ...to increase the color vibrancy, Brightness and Contrast and Background Lighting.. And Saturation... Finally Finished... Took several days as I only worked for an hour or two each day... One of my better Pastel Color Works... Has a nice Oriental Feel...
