Usually use sheets of Bockingford, Saunders or Arches. However for convenience when on a course have used blocks. However no matter the make I have found colours less vibrant on the blocks and wonder if the sizing is different from the free sheets. Anyone else been disappointed with blocks?

I use sheets and blocks, Fabriano 300lb sheets in the studio, Arches blocks of various sizes when painting en plein air. My style is fairly robust with strong colours generally so I havn't personally encountered any difference, but it is possible.
