As a boy in the art shool there was originality all around me ,ideas seemed to be flowing from every brush and then the watercolourists likeEdward Wesson, Edward Seago, Fletcher Watson ,were bringing great style, with paintings out of their heads,,not copyed //today I pick up an art magazine and all I see are photographic detailed
reproductions ,why is everyone sticking so ridgidly to the photograph / ,paintings now look so artficial,they have no character .,no freedom of expression ,art magazines are so entranched in photographic reproduced paintings I wish I knew .why ,,
