If you work on different kind of papers, with the small left over :
- Cut small squares - same size - write at the top which kind of paper it is -
- When you have suddenly make a wonderful mix with your paint, just add it to your little square with the name of the colours. You will remember for next time.
- When you got a bit of spare time but not enough to paint you can experiment with your watercolours on these little squares.
Stick them on a scrap book and you can come back to them when you are building up a painting - All your references ready for you to come back to.
